About The Studio & Artist
Bird & Alley Studio creates one-of-a-kind, story-driven houses inspired by real places, memory, and time. Each piece begins in a specific landscape - a shoreline, garden, trail, or river’s edge and is slowly crafted, uniquely named, and carefully recorded as its own home. The work is shaped by the artist’s return to making after a long career outside of art, influenced by generations of women artists and a belief in beginning when you’re ready. Together, the houses form a growing, imagined neighborhood—holding moments, meaning, and a quiet sense of belonging.
